El Fortín restaurant was founded in September of
1999 by its' owners, Mario and Maria Ramírez. They are originally
from San Felipe Tejalapam, located in Mexico in the state of Oaxaca.
The restaurant offers the most delicious Oaxacan meals, fit for the
most demanding palate. Native Oaxacans living in the United States
will think they are in a restaurant back in Oaxaca. Our food is made
at the moment it is ordered and with 100% Oaxacan products.
Furthermore, El Fortin also offers Oaxacan products for wholesale or
retail purchase. Such as chorizo, tasajo, cecina enchilada, quesill,
chapulines, chiles de agua, Oaxacan bread, and much more.
